Breast Cancer Awareness Month In MMA
When you think on MMA you think of the warriors stepping into the cage fighting a good fight, but have you ever thought of a breast cancer patient or survivor a warrior?
With breast cancer awareness month upon us I thought it would be a good time to talk about how to find out more about breast cancer and some of the symptoms as well as how to share your story or a loved ones story.
If you know of someone first hand that has had or has breast cancer you know it’s a battle for them everyday. It’s almost like stepping into their own cage that no one can see. They step into that cage and fight as hard as they can and like an MMA fighter are true warriors.
Breast cancer is not a discriminating disease. It’s evil will rear its ugly head on the young, old, the poor and rich.
If you know a breast cancer survivor and haven’t spoke to them in awhile, reach out to them and see how they are doing. On the same token if you know someone currently with breast cancer offer them some help. Even picking up their mail or taking out the trash could make their day.
